I have worked as a writer, producer, editor and motion graphics designer in both New York and Los Angeles, for WNET/Thirteen and WLIW/21 and other clients, including three feature length documentaries and an IFC documentary series. I can shoot and cut short form films for you or help you successfully complete your film project of any length, at competitive rates, at your location or mine, from editing through final post. I edit in Final Cut 7 and Premiere Pro CC, and am proficient in Photoshop, Illustrator and After Effects.

PRODUCER

THIRTEEN/WNET:

Broadcast Department/On-Air Fundraising
Writer/Producer/Editor - 2007-Present

Since 2007 I was responsible for writing scripts for station spot message campaigns and live or pre-taped fundraising breaks. I oversaw pre-production, set schedules, supervised location and studio shoots through online sessions to air.

This involved:

• Working closely with in-house and outside clients to clarify message of the end product, and form campaign strategies.

• Creating concepts and copy to achieve media goals, plus additional research.

• Conducting casting interviews and selection of video crew as necessary.

• Overseeing and/or directing interviews and scripted material in studio and on location, both live and recorded, in high stress environments and situations.

• Reviewing raw footage, offline editing myself, overseeing design and production of stills and/or motion graphics, plus supervising final on-line post-sessions.

"An Unknown Country" - 2012-14
Producer, Editor, Motion Graphics
A documentary feature by Emmy Award-winning producer Eva Zelig, about the emigration of Jews from Europe during the rise of the Third Reich, and how they found refuge in Ecuador.

• Worked with director to cut down and shape the final narrative of the ninety-minute final film after the three-hour long first cut was completed as her editor.

• Planned production schedules, oversaw pre-production and taping through post-production.

• Secured rights releases to stock film footage, archival photos and music.
